AC's Top Hitter Announced Wednesday, September 1st , 2083 Prospective free agents love to have hot streaks and Vern Berg is no exception. The Baton Rouge first baseman capped off a fine month by hauling in Batter of the Month honors in the Alpha Conference. In August Berg hit .291 with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Currently Berg has 27 home runs and a .290 batting average. |
