AC's #1 Batter Chosen Saturday, September 1st , 2085 Jose Diaz is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Anaheim left fielder joined that select company when the Alpha Conference announced the results of August's voting. Diaz totaled 33 hits, 10 walks, 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 21 runs scored last month to put together a .384 batting average and .454 on-base percentage. On the year, Diaz has hit .342 with 16 home runs, 59 RBIs and scored 74 runs. |
