Injury Sidelines David Quiles For Year Sunday, August 26th , 2085 The season is finished for David Quiles of the Garland Pigeons. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Pigeons starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Arlington Mallards. Team doctors said it would take at least 15 months to heal. This year, Quiles has fanned 42 in 61 innings and collected a 3-1 record with a 2.21 ERA. |
