It's Over: Traders Stop Dekraker Saturday, August 25th , 2085 Lady Luck was not on the side of Brett Dekraker or his teammates at Hialeah Grounds. Everything went the way of the Lincoln Traders, who not only came away with the 6-2 victory over Hialeah, but also held Dekraker hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 28-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Dekraker said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." So far this season, Dekraker has put up a .320 batting average with 115 hits, 22 home runs and 70 RBIs. |
