No Playoff Berth Coming for Norfolk Saturday, August 25th , 2085 In what starting pitcher Elias Megia called a "devastating blow" for baseball fans in Norfolk, the Norfolk Thorns won't be a part of the playoffs this season. They were officially eliminated from contention earlier today. Norfolk last appeared in the postseason in 2069. This is their 16th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 40 times in their 41-year history. |
