Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Dekraker Tuesday, August 21st , 2085 Brett Dekraker, first baseman for the Hialeah Boomers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-2 victory over the Santa Ana Broncs at Broncs Ballpark. "Not the outcome we wanted," Santa Ana manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Brett Dekraker grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a sac fly in the 7th. This year, Dekraker is hitting .321 with 111 hits, 21 home runs, 64 RBIs and has scored 44 runs. |
