Wyman Muzzles Hamilton Bats Sunday, July 21st , 2086 It was not a good day at the plate for the Hamilton Argonauts. They came up empty when it mattered against San Bernadino Sun Devils right-hander Lewis Wyman, who scattered 4 hits across 9 innings and held the Argonauts scoreless. "We had 4 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Hamilton manager said later. Wyman chalked up 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 8-0 Sun Devils win. So far this season, Wyman has a 4-3 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 3 relief appearances, logged 70 innings and fanned 61 batters while fashioning a 3.86 ERA and allowing the opposition a .234 batting average. View Boxscore |
