Broncs Victor Delgado Will Miss Season Sunday, July 14th , 2086 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Victor Delgado of the Broncs knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Hamilton Argonauts while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn rotator cuff, the Santa Ana reliever is expected to miss 13 months. Delgado was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." On the year, Delgado has recorded no saves with a 2-2 record over 48 innings. He has mowed down 35 batters on strikes and walked 12 with an ERA of 3.56. |
