Oscar Sepulveda to Miss 7-8 Months Tuesday, August 1st , 2084 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Riversharks when after today's game against the Reds, the club found out they would be without the services of Oscar Sepulveda for at least 7-8 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Sepulveda was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Sepulveda's record this season is 2-and-1 with no saves and a 5.97 ERA. He has given up 38 hits in 34.2 innings with 24 strikeouts. |
