Year Over for Blaze Labhart Sunday, July 30th , 2084 The season is finished for Paul Labhart of the Moreno Valley Blaze. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Blaze reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Calgary Cannons. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. Labhart's record this season is 3-and-2 with 3 saves and a 2.76 ERA. He has given up 14 hits in 29.1 innings with 27 strikeouts. |
