Sea Serpents Doyle Gone for Year Sunday, July 23rd , 2084 "I'm frustrated right now," said Jersey City reliever Brenden Doyle. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Sea Serpents, that's where he will be spending 5 months. Doyle suffered shoulder inflammation in today's game against Santa Ana while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." Doyle has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in 4.1 innings while registering a 4.15 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
