Atsuya Ishii Hurt, Out for Year Thursday, July 20th , 2084 The season is ending on a bad note for Atsuya Ishii, starting pitcher for the Akron Pickets. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Ishii was hurt against the Huntington Beach Drummers while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 5 months. For the season, Ishii has compiled a 2-2 record with a 3.94 ERA. |
