Calgary's Barrios Will Miss Season Wednesday, July 19th , 2084 Doctors in Calgary said Fernando Barrios might not play anymore this year. The Cannons reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff during a game against the Chesapeake Rams and will be out for at least 12-13 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. For the year, Barrios has 22 relief appearances and a 1-2 record with 12 saves. He has logged 19.1 innings and allowed 19 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .257 batting average against him. Barrios has rung up 23 strikeouts, surrendered 11 walks and fashioned a 5.12 ERA. |
