The Garland Pigeons reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Chesapeake Rams and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Quiles was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. Quiles has taken the mound for 15 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 2-0 record with a 5.40 ERA. The Garland reliever has limited opposing batters to a .250 batting average. |
