John Frye Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, July 8th , 2084 After injuring himself, Blaze starting pitcher John Frye headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Frye will miss at least 5 months with ulnar nerve entrapment. Up to now Frye has recorded a record of 7-2. In 13 starts he has fanned 68 batters in 80.2 innings with a 4.13 ERA. |
