Hampshire 5-for-5 Against Boomers Wednesday, July 5th , 2084 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Moreno Valley's Eric Hampshire made it happen against the Boomers. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old left fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Blaze triumph, 9-0, at Blaze Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Hampshire said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Eric Hampshire singled in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
