Vermeeren Wins AC Player of the Week Honors Monday, June 5th , 2084 Conrad Vermeeren burst onto the Alpha Conference stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Fremont garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .550 (11-for-20) with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs last week. Currently Vermeeren is hitting .326 and has collected 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 29 times, while playing in 53 games. |
