Great Stroke: Inaba Gets 5 Hits Sunday, June 4th , 2084 Anchorage second baseman Masakazu Inaba put on quite a show at Spinners Ballpark with a big 5-hit day in his team's 9-4 victory over the Riverside Spinners. "Not a bad day at the plate, 5-for-5," he said in the postgame interview. "Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average, and my salary, too." Masakazu Inaba singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Inaba is hitting .298 with 4 home runs, 27 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 215 at-bats and a .338 OBP. View Boxscore |
