Season Ends for Carlos Hoyos of Hamilton Wednesday, April 24th , 2086 Carlos Hoyos is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Hamilton organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 9-10 months with a torn labrum. The 37-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Calgary Cannons. Hoyos's record up to now is 1-and-0 with no saves and a 3.00 ERA. He has given up 13 hits in 12 innings with 6 strikeouts. |
