Reds Lose Groetzinger for Season Wednesday, April 26th , 2084 Mark Groetzinger will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Rochester left fielder could miss the remainder of the year. Groetzinger was injured while running the bases in the Reds-Blues clash at Rough Riders Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured medial collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 7 months. Groetzinger is batting .316 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs this season. |
