Cazarez Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, April 11th , 2084 Jordan Cazarez, center fielder for the Moreno Valley Blaze, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 4 hits in his club's 13-9 victory over the Chesapeake Rams at Blaze Ballpark. "Not the outcome we wanted," Chesapeake manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Jordan Cazarez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Rick Stockley in the 7th and hit a three-run double in the 8th. |
