Dekraker Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Wednesday, August 15th , 2085 Brett Dekraker collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Hialeah Boomers, beat the Garland Pigeons, 8-5. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Dekraker quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Brett Dekraker hit a two-run home run off David Quiles in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 5th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. In his season totals Dekraker has 20 home runs and a .312 batting average. |
