Texicans Jose Quiroz Will Miss Season Tuesday, August 14th , 2085 Jose Quiroz of the San Antonio Texicans was injured in today's game against Huntington Beach and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a bone spur in his elbow, and he is expected to be out for up to 4-5 months. It happened while Quiroz was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." To date Quiroz is 10-5 in 21 starts with a 3.44 ERA and has 106 strikeouts in 123 innings. |
