Ito Fires Shutout in Jersey City Victory Sunday, August 12th , 2085 Today was Hajime Ito's turn in the rotation for the Jersey City Sea Serpents and he made the most of it, shutting out the Arlington Mallards on 8 hits. The 24-year-old right-hander led the Sea Serpents to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 4 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Arlington manager said. "Ito certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
