It's Over: Rams Stop Bransington Sunday, August 5th , 2085 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Larry Bransington as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 4 at-bats at the hands of the Chesapeake Rams. It wasn't all bad for the 23-year-old left fielder and the Santa Ana Broncs however, as they defeated Chesapeake, 4-3, at Broncs Ballpark. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Bransington laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." Bransington has collected 106 hits for the Broncs this year, 4 of them home runs. He has also netted 41 RBIs and scored 57 runs while batting .339. |
