Charros Liebermeister Lost for Year Sunday, August 5th , 2085 Guadalajara Charros reliever Ronny Liebermeister left yesterday's game against the Anchorage Homesteads after suffering a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder throwing a pitch. Liebermeister was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Liebermeister is expected to miss 5-6 months. Liebermeister has taken the mound for 44 relief appearances this season, nailing down 24 saves while notching a 5-4 record with a 5.98 ERA. The Guadalajara reliever has limited opposing batters to a .316 batting average. |
