Chinooks Out of Playoff Race Friday, August 3rd , 2085 The Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. The Chinooks have missed the playoffs 85 times in their 96 years as a RSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2083. In the last 10 seasons, the Chinooks have missed the playoffs 6 times. Chugiak-Eagle River last won the League Championship in 2078. |
