Chuugo Maruyama Winner in July Wednesday, August 1st , 2085 Chuugo Maruyama is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Norfolk right fielder joined that select company when the Alpha Conference announced the results of July's voting. Maruyama totaled 32 hits, 25 walks, 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .337 batting average and .472 on-base percentage. So far this year, Maruyama is batting .281 with 21 home runs. |
