Chesapeake Won't Make Playoffs Saturday, July 28th , 2085 The Chesapeake Rams were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said starting pitcher Dave Mills. "It's a big disappointment." Chesapeake last appeared in the postseason in 2050. This is their 35th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 90 times in their 96-year history. |
