Bombs Away: Lannigan Slams 4 Homers Thursday, June 17th , 2083 In a game for the ages, Fremont Roadsters first baseman Maddox Lannigan launched 4 home runs at Ballpark of Fremont against the Chula Vista Ghouls. Time after time, Lannigan found his stroke against the shell-shocked Ghouls pitching staff, finishing with 5 RBIs and scoring 4 times as the Roadsters grabbed the 9-8 victory. "They pitch 'em and I hit 'em. I just did it a little better than them today," Lannigan said to reporters after his historic game. "I won big today, but they might get me out 4 times tomorrow." Maddox Lannigan walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Tony Duenas in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Alberto Rodriguez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Conor Sleight in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jairo Madueno in the 8th.
