Player of the Week: Rochester's Casarrubias Monday, April 23rd , 2085 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Rochester third baseman Jonathan Casarrubias. He went on a rampage last week against AC hurlers and rapped out 12 hits in 23 at-bats for a .522 average while hitting no home runs, driving in 4 runs and scoring 3 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Alpha Conference Player of the Week trophy. Casarrubias was honored today at a press conference. On the year, Casarrubias has hit .431 with no home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 7 runs. |
