Carlos Torrez Lost for Season Saturday, April 21st , 2085 Carlos Torrez is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Garland organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 9-10 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The 26-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Chesapeake Rams. So far this season, Torrez has compiled a 0-0 record with a 1.29 ERA. |
