Hitting Streak Still Alive for Bogue Saturday, April 21st , 2085 The hitting streak for Oxnard left fielder Joe Bogue now stands at 20 games, but the Tigercats dropped today's contest 5-4 to the Jersey City Sea Serpents. Bogue went 3-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 3 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Joe Bogue singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Greg Sams in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Bogue is currently hitting at a .429 pace with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and has scored 12 times. |
