Gerardo Menendez Sidelined for Season Monday, April 9th , 2085 Gerardo Menendez has to call it a season. The Saint Petersburg Red Wings starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Joliet Blues and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Menendez was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months. |
