Red-Hot Miller Cools Off San Francisco Wednesday, September 4th , 2086 It was not a good day at the plate for the San Francisco Friars. They came up empty when it mattered against Buffalo Rangers right-hander Julius Miller, who scattered 4 hits across 9 innings and held the Friars scoreless. "We had 4 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," San Francisco manager Erich Weatherholt said later. Miller chalked up 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 7-0 Rangers win. This season, Miller has gone 13-8 with an ERA of 3.87, posting 156 strikeouts in 190.2 innings. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
