Juggernauts Earn 6-3 Win Versus San Diego
|
Toronto Juggernauts starter Daniel Taylor found his groove in his team's 6-3 win over the San Diego Destroyers. In 5.1 innings, Taylor surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Fabian Estrada notched his 4th save of the season.
Toronto first baseman Jason Wedel contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 75th hit of the season and put the Juggernauts ahead, 4-1.
"Daniel was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
Toronto's record now stands at 71-69, placing them second in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
