5-Hit Blitz by Natividad Thursday, June 1st , 2084 DeMario Natividad exploded for a barrage of base hits at Polo Grounds II. The New York third baseman had a field day in his team's 14-8 triumph over the Baltimore Kings, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Natividad must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. DeMario Natividad tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
