Arrows Toms Goes Yard 4 Times
Monday, August 16th, 2066
The only thing better for Bryan Toms than hitting 4 home runs in a game would have been hitting them in a win.
Toms put up a monster display of hitting for the Seattle Arrows but had it spoiled as the San Francisco Friars pulled out a 21-10 win.
"Ten years from now," Toms said, "I'll probably look back on this day with more satisfaction than I feel right now."
On his historic day at Power Ballpark, the Seattle first baseman belted 4 home runs and put up a 4-for-4 line. He scored 4 times and had 7 RBIs.
Bryan Toms walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Barnes Boerma in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Edwin Contreras in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Chalico Cavazos in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Sibrand Barber in the 8th.
For the season Toms is batting .324 with 143 hits and 37 home runs. He has scored 102 times and batted in 116.
