Clifton Ewing exploded for a barrage of base hits at Broncs Ballpark.

The Hamilton left fielder had a field day in his team's 12-6 triumph over the Santa Ana Broncs, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Ewing must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Clifton Ewing hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
