Red-Hot Bat: Gurriel Collects Cycle
Victor Gurriel cracked out all four legs of the cycle at Ballpark of Baton Rouge, but the Baton Rouge Grapplers still lost to the Plano Elephants by a final score of 13-7.

In a sensational performance, Gurriel had 4 hits in 4 tries with 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.

"It feels terrible to go 4-for-4 and lose," Gurriel said when asked about the big day. "But I keep reminding myself that there will be a day soon where I'll go 0-for-4 and we'll win, so everything balances out."

Victor Gurriel hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Oscar Martinez in the 9th.
