Yoandy Bernaldo put on a hitting clinic at Mountaineers Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Reno pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Sudbury Astronauts, who still fell, 9-7.

"Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Bernaldo told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too."
