Masamichi Ikeda came out firing strikes and, when the game ended, the Lexington Partisans hurler had struck out 10, leading Lexington past the Pawtucket Patriots, 8-0. Ikeda allowed just 6 hits in the ballgame.

"I'm glad that one is in the rearview mirror," said Pawtucket manager .
