Niu Sends Fremont Bats to Deep Freeze
All went well for Chua chay Niu of the Oceanside Barnstormers as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 7-0, over the Fremont Leeches, limiting them to 6 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Niu on the day.

"Chua chay's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Barnstormers manager . "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the Oceanside right-hander rang up 6 and surrendered 2 walks.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Leeches manager . "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
