John Binder exploded for a barrage of base hits at Barnstormers Ballpark.

The Fremont left fielder had a field day in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Oceanside Barnstormers, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Binder must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. John Binder singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Mark Bursey in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
