Cruz Goes on Rampage Against Camaroneros Thursday, September 29th, 2044 33-year-old Habana right fielder Jesús Cruz had a big day with the bat at Stadium today against the Cienfuegos Camaroneros. He went 5-for-5 and led the Vaqueros to a 11-3 triumph over them. Jesús Cruz singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the season Cruz has produced 35 hits in 125 at-bats for a .280 average with 5 home runs and gotten on base at a .345 clip. |
