Monday, February 2nd, 2026: Team USA fans will be disappointed to learn that Eli Badtree suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in today's game. After the doctor informed the Team USA manager that Badtree was expected to miss 4-5 months, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the closer could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.
