Playoffs Won't Happen for Elephants Tuesday, August 18th , 2076 At times during the season, it seemed like the Plano Elephants might put together a promising campaign, but it was not to be. Today, the Plano Elephants are left waiting for next year after being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2074.In total, the Elephants have missed the playoffs 64 times in their 87-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Elephants have made the playoffs 8 times.
