Maxwell Grabs AC Reliever of the Year Award Thursday, September 9th , 2077 Chris Maxwell was a calming influence out of the Toledo Red Dragons bullpen this season.
His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 21-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Alpha Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2077.
The Mililani Town, Hawaii native won the award with 28 saves in 44 relief appearances, 62 strikeouts in 48.1 innings and a record of 2-3 to go with his 1.30 ERA.
