Shinn Selected BC's Top Player Thursday, September 9th , 2083 He may have less experience than most of his RSL Single A peers, but that didn't slow Jin-soo Shinn down at all in 2083. At the age of 22, the East Lansing right fielder has been named the winner of the Beta Conference Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .374 batting average and a .444 on-base percentage this year. In 110 games he piled up 157 hits, 16 doubles, no triples, 32 home runs, 104 RBIs and 78 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Angel Venegas of the Victoria Seals finished second in voting, while Orlando Mondragon of the East Lansing Mighty Gulls finished third.
