Murfreesboro Ace Takes Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, September 8th , 2083 When the name of Alex Urbano appeared on the Murfreesboro lineup card in 2083, it was a virtual guarantee of a victory or at least a well-pitched game. For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Beta Conference Outstanding Pitcher Award winner today. He started 20 games, running up a 12-4 record and a 1.38 ERA. Urbano held opponents to a .228 average while striking out 117, walking 28 and allowing 135 hits in 162.2 innings of work. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
